Milk Allergies and Milk Withdrawal
So last month, Dr. LeAnne did a show on Builders, you know we talk so much about cleansing, but what is equally and vitally important is to BUILD the body. Because once you cleanse some toxin, metal, or bad bacteria out of the system, something needs to replace it – and you want it to be with the good stuff.
During part of the show, Dr. LeAnne and Qun were talking about milk allergies. Now, I’ve heard about milk allergies 1000s of times, I’ve always felt for those poor people allergic to milk, and never ever would allow the possibility that I might have a milk allergy to enter into my thoughts – just too much to even consider. I love milk, and having given up gluten, there was no way I could entertain the thought of giving up milk, cream, sauces, and cheese.
But what so powerfully caught my attention was that they were discussing the 3 stages of a milk allergy.
In the first stage it shows up as a rash on a baby’s face, or like eczema. And oftentimes people will think the child has outgrown the allergy, since it disappears; but that isn’t true since it has moved on to become a second stage milk allergy. That’s where you will find the chronic runny noses, the constant sinus drip, and excess mucus in the sinus, lung, and colon. Which translates to chronic sinus infections, bronchitis, and digestive problems such as poor absorption, irritable bowel, diarrhea, you name it. The third stage of the allergy presents and is believed to cause ADHD, or Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.
When I heard all of this, I knew that was my life story. I’ve always had sinus troubles, not to mention bronchial and digestive problems. It was then I decided to go off of milk.
When I did that, the levels of mucus in my sinuses instantly disappeared. No more drip, no more stuffiness, no more pain. It was unreal. And what also was unreal, was the level of withdrawal I was going through.
Dr.LeAnne mentioned that in her readings from Dr. Pfeiffer in Naperville, IL, was that undigested milk proteins (which pasteurized milk destroys the enzymes we need to digest the milk protein) combine with the metals in our body to create opium. Same with gluten, (likewise, processed wheat nowadays strips the enzymes needed to digest the gluten protein), the gluten attaches with metals in our body to make opium! No wonder we are so addicted to carbs and the likes of ice cream and cheese. They are beyond comfort food, even without additives like MSG, they are highly addicting.
Sure enough, within a day I was getting the shakes, and feeling like my skin was crawling. All I wanted to do was eat cheese or drink milk. And thankfully, Dr.LeAnne recommended some oils to me, as well as taking JuvaTone. For me, JuvaTone was the trick, it helped metabolize the extra opiates floating around my body.
There’s more happening right now with my teeth and gums, but that’s for another post.
Lastly, I’m going to explore this some more, but apparently it takes months for the body to adjust coming off of milk and dairy. That is fine by me, I will forgo the discomfort of withdrawal and embrace my clean body that is slowly becoming less inflamed and healthier and stronger by the day.
